Countryside areas around Begbroke are good habitat for badgers, but they do wander into areas where humans tend to dominate.  The Oxfordshire Badger Group is a charity organisation of local volunteers that map the distribution of setts, vaccinate badgers against Bovine TB and are keen to record and check sightings of badgers including road-kill.  If you do see badgers alive or recently dead, and know where there is a sett please report the details to the group. At certain times of the year they will particularly check whether a dead badger is a lactating female that may have dependent young in the area.
